I am thrilled with the sound of this innovative system and consider it a major step forward in violin amplification.

This updated pickup system is now standard on my Artist models. It is also available as a retrofit for all Aceto/Violect instruments dating back to 1988—as well as for use on traditional acoustic violins.

Each pickup is crafted using only the highest-quality bridge blanks and well-aged Bosnian maple. The two sensor design delivers optimal response and an open, natural tone—while preserving the instrument’s acoustic integrity.
When expertly fitted by a skilled violin technician, it provides a clear, uncompromising tone—faithful even to the most refined acoustic instruments.
